By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).

1. General Conditions and Acceptance

1.1. Acceptance of Terms: Entry into the competition and/or acceptance of the prize constitutes the participant’s binding acceptance of these T&Cs on their behalf.

1.2. Promoter's Right: The Promoter reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition at any time. The Promoter shall provide copies of these rules to the National Consumer Commission and retain a copy after the competition ends.

1.3. No Purchase Necessary: Participants are not required to purchase any goods or services, nor offer any further consideration, to enter or receive the prize. Entry is free, requiring only the standard cost associated with sending the entry (e.g., internet access or data costs).  

 

 

2. Eligibility and Exclusions

2.1. Residency and Age: This competition is open only to natural persons who are 18 years of age or older and who permanently reside within the Republic of South Africa (RSA).

2.2. Exclusions: Entry is prohibited for all directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of EasyBuyZA, their subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions, or associated companies, as well as their spouses, life partners, immediate family members, or business partners. Any entries found to violate this clause will be immediately disqualified.  

 

 

3. Competition Details and Entry Mechanics

3.1. Prize: The prize is one (1) set of Wireless Bluetooth 5.3 Clip-On Earphones, valued at approximately R300.

 3.2. Competition Period: The competition starts upon the publication of these rules and ends on Monday, 7 December 2025 (23:59 SAST).

3.3. Mandatory Entry Requirements: To be entered into the draw, participants must complete the following mandatory steps: a. Follow the official EasyBuyZA profile on the platform of entry (Instagram or Facebook). b. Tag at least two (2) friends in the comments section of the official competition post. c. Click the link provided in the post/bio and successfully submit their email address on the dedicated giveaway landing page.

3.4. Bonus Entry (Optional): Participants may receive one (1) bonus entry by visiting the designated product URL on the EasyBuyZA website and adding the Wireless Bluetooth Clip-On Earphones to their wishlist. This action is not mandatory for core entry.  

 

 

4. Winner Selection and Notification

4.1. Selection Process: The winner will be selected through a random draw from all valid, eligible entries received, provided all mandatory entry steps have been completed.

4.2. Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced and notified via email and/or Direct Message (DM) on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. The winner will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize and provide necessary delivery details within 72 hours of notification.

4.3. Forfeiture: If the selected winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the 72-hour period, or is found to be ineligible (e.g., does not reside in RSA or is an excluded person), the prize will be forfeited, and a replacement winner will be drawn.

4.4. Prize Delivery: The winner will receive their headphones delivered FREE of charge to their registered South African address on or near 13 December 2025.  

 

 

5. Data and Privacy (POPIA Notice)

5.1. Data Collection: By entering the competition, participants consent to the processing of their personal information (email address and social media handle) solely for the purpose of administering the competition, selecting a winner, and notifying the winner.

5.2. Direct Marketing Consent: Any future electronic marketing communications, including promotional emails, offers, and the post-giveaway discount code, will only be sent to participants who have provided explicit, separate consent for marketing communications by checking the designated consent box on the entry form. Participants who enter without providing this marketing consent will not receive future marketing materials beyond the mandatory winner announcement/closure emails.

6.1. Social Media Disclaimer: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook. Participants agree to release Instagram and Facebook from any liability.

6.2. Indemnity: The Promoter and its associated parties accept no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
